COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

APPLEONIA BEAUTY STUDIO

As ever at Appleonia we continue to maintain professional protocols as well as high hygiene and sterilisation standards.

These measures have been taken to ensure all our safety so please abide by what is asked of you when visiting the salon.

DO NOT visit the salon if you feel unwell or if you or anyone in your household have, or have had any of the known Covid symptoms in the last 14 days. These include, sore throat, dry cough, fever, lasting headaches, loss of taste and or smell, high temperature or diarrhoea.

As of 16.12.21 until further notice, we politely ask all of our clients to bring proof of a negative Covid 19 test.  Home kits, such as lateral flow are fine.  I will also be testing daily for your safety.

The illustrations should give you some understanding of how things will be at the salon.

On arrival at the salon, before your treatment, you will need to complete a questionnaire. There will also be a range of new safety measures in place. Only one person will be allowed into the salon at a time, we ask you to please visit alone. Seating will be provided outside for you to sit and wait. Please do not enter the salon until you are invited in.  We ask you to bring very little in with you, only your purse and phone or a very small bag. Please leave coats in the car where possible.

You will be asked to use hand sanitiser when entering the salon which is positioned just inside the door. Wearing a face covering of any kind is acceptable - we will be too. Your temperature may also be checked on arrival.  There will be a level of PPE that we as staff will be required to wear. This may be inclusive of gloves, masks, visors or eye coverings.  Special uniform and couch covering changes will also be made.

If removing clothes for your treatment you will be asked to put them in one place, an area cleaned thoroughly between each use.

The environment will be disinfected between each customer use. Time will be allowed for this between each appointment booked. Please understand and appreciate this giving me opportunity to make sure we stay safe.

In reception there is now a sneeze screen at the desk that you will need to remain behind. This protection is in place for the safety of whoever’s behind it. That includes you!

Sadly these new measures come at a cost so during this period of uncertainty there will be a £2 surcharge on each booking (not treatment) to ensure the safety of us all.

Any Gift Vouchers that are purchased at the salon will automatically be extended to take into account any interruption of business.

Due to the nature of this virus, cancellations may have to happen as a result.  If you should need to cancel or change an appointment in relation to this, please give us at least four hours notice to prevent there being a charge.  Charges will still apply for failure to attend or cancellation without a genuine Covid related explanation, if made within less than 24 hours.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support. Your continued loyalty is hugely appreciated.
